What is 5GX ?

• Enjoy a wide variety of contents including media, VR, AR games on a safe and fast 5G network
• Enjoy a variety of benefits at convenience stores, bakeries, coffee shops and theaters and discounts on media content for 5GX Platinum, 5GX Prime Plus and 5GX Prime subscribers
• Free and discounted Smart Watch/Tablet/5G Sharing service fees for 5GX Platinum, 5GX Prime Plus and 5GX Prime subscribers

Monthly Plans

• Each second on a premium rate call will result in a one-second deduction from your premium rate call allowance.
• Each second on a video call will result in 1.66 second deduction from your premium rate call allowance.
• Overage Charges: Voice call ￦1.98/sec, video call ￦3.3/sec, SMS ￦22/message, LMS ￦33/message, MMS ￦110/message

Shareable Data

• Shareable Data: Total amount of data which can be used for Data Gifts/Data Sharing/Smartwatch and Tablet Device Sharing
• Tethering and data sharing is allowed within the plan's combined data bundle. Data used for tethering and data sharing will be deducted from the subscriber's data allowance
• Individuals under the age of 19 (including children) may not use data gifting services, and may only receive data. Data gifting by such individuals is only allowed under the following circumstances:
  * Individuals under the age of 19 (including children) subscribing to plans that allow the gifting of data, and bundled products allowing additional gifting of data to family members. Such individuals may gift data to bundled family members with approval from their legal guardians.
• Refilled data cannot be shared (Cannot be used with T Family Data Sharing, Data Gift, Data Sharing, Smartwatch/Tablet Device Sharing T Data Sharing)
• Subscription to T Family Data is not allowed
• Data refill is not available for unlimited data plans i.e. 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus/Prime (Giving data to family members is allowed)

① T Universe: Free Services/Discount Benefits

• Subscribers will receive free services or discount benefits of 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus/Prime immediately after registration, following their choice of one of the listed services: Universe Pass all/life, Wavve, FLO
  • You may only receive a discount for either ‘Universe Pass all’ or ‘Universe Pass life’, and may not subscribe to both services and receive discounts at the same time
  • If you have chosen Wavve or FLO as your discount benefit, discounts will be provided once you sign up to Wavve or FLO as an add-on or standalone subscription
  • The above benefit shall be provided to customers who have subscribed to 5GX Platinum · 5GX Prime Plus from August 5th, 2022 (Fri.) onwards, and customers subscribing to 5GX Prime since September 1st, 2022 (Thu.). Customers who have subscribed to 5GX Platinum or 5GX Prime before August 5th, 2022 (Fri.) and September 1st, 2022 (Thu.) respectively may receive the updated benefits upon re-subscribing to these plans. However, upon re-subscription, you will no longer be able to receive the existing benefits
  • Non-subscription could result in the ineligibility for T Universe free services/discount benefits.
• ‘Universe Pass all’ and ‘Universe Pass life’ discount benefits for 5GX Platinum · 5GX Prime Plus · 5GX Prime plans is not applicable for the ‘Youtube Premium’ subscription service additional benefit option
• T Universe: free services/discount benefits can be changed at T World website/application at [My Bills/Add-On Services].
  • T Universe: free services/discount benefits can be changed after a 31-day period from the date of the initial change. (i.e., When changing from a ‘Universe Pass all’ discount → Wavve discount on January 1st, you may change your selected benefit again on February 2nd.)
• When selecting add-on services (postpaid): Discounts will be applied immediately after registration to the service
• When selecting subscription services (prepaid): ① If selection of the benefit and registration to the selected benefit service is completed within 14 days of signing up for the plan, the maximum discount amount will be provided
  ② If selection of the benefit and registration to the selected benefit service is completed after 14 days of signing up for the plan, the discount will be pro-rated based on the period between the selection and payment (registration) date. (i.e., If the benefit option was selected on July 10th, and payment (registration) was completed on July 25th, 50% of maximum discount amount (15days/30days=0.5) will be provided
• 5GX Platinum members can choose a total of two complimentary options from the T Universe benefit pool.
  • Wavve Option: Potential monthly savings of up to 100% on your Wavve and Data (Plus/Premium) provided as add-on services or subscription.
  • FLO Option: Potential monthly savings of up to 100% on your FLO and Data (Plus) provided as add-on services or subscription.
  • Universe Pass all/life Option: Potential monthly savings of up to 100%
  • For the Universe Pass all/life option, the maximum amount of discount will be up to ￦9,900. Any additional charges resulting from the benefits selected alongside the Universe Pass will not be subject to discounts.
• 5GX Prime Plus members can choose one complimentary option from the T Universe benefit pool.
  • Wavve Option: Potential monthly savings of up to 100% on your Wavve and Data (Plus/Premium) provided as add-on services or subscription.
  • FLO Option: Potential monthly savings of up to 100% on your FLO and Data provided as add-on services or subscription.
  • Universe Pass all/life Option: Potential monthly savings of up to 100%
  • For the Universe pass all/life option, the maximum amount of discount will be up to ￦9,900. Any additional charges resulting from the benefits selected alongside the Universe Pass will not be subject to discounts.
  • For the FLO option, potential monthly savings of up to 100% (or ￦7,900) on your FLO and Data Plus provided as add-on services or subscription.
• 5GX Prime members can choose a total of two complimentary options from the T Universe benefit pool.
  • Wavve Option: Potential monthly savings of up to 70% on your Wavve and Data (Plus/Premium) provided as add-on services or subscription.
  • FLO Option: Potential monthly savings of up to 70% on your FLO and Data provided as add-on services or subscription.
  • Universe Pass all/life Option: Potential monthly savings of up to ￦5,000
  • For the FLO option, potential monthly savings of up to 70% (or ￦5,530) on your FLO and Data Plus provided as add-on services or subscription.
  • For subscribers of the 5GX Prime Plan & Wavve Content Pack (Plus) before Jan. 1, 2020 who are using the Pack at a discount or for free, please note the following:

    ① Existing benefits for Wavve Content Pack (Plus) may come to an end if subscribers subscribe to FLO services with other add-on services, subscriptions services, or T Universe Pass all/life after May 1, 2021. If the subscription for FLO services is canceled without any changes to the plan, the discount for the Wavve Content Pack (Plus) will be restored.

    ② Subscribers may lose existing discount benefits if they cancel their Wavve Content Pack (Plus) subscription or change their plan.

② 50% or 100% discount for smart device usage fees

• 100% discount on 2 lines for 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus subscribers, 100% discount on 1 line for 5GX Prime subscribers, and 50% discount on 1 line for 5GX Regular Plus subscribers
• Eligible Smart Devices for Discounts:
  1. Smartwatches/Tablet/Shared 5G lines under the same subscriber’s name
  2. ZEM Plan Watch Line bundled together as a "main-supplement line (parent & child)," with the parent as the legal guardian
• Plans eligible for discount (11 services): LTE Watch (standalone/shared), T Outdoor (standalone/shared), LTE Watch (Shared II), (child’s line) ZEM Plan Watch, T Tab9, 5G Sharing_Tablet PC, 5G Sharing_Smartphone, 5G Tab 4G (standalone/shared)
• Subscribers of 5G Tab Plan (standalone/shared) are entitled to discount benefits. The precise discounted amount will be based on the T Tab 9 Plan, with 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus/Prime subscribers eligible for discounts of up to ￦9,900, and 5GX Regular Plus subscribers eligible for discounts of up to ￦4,950.
  • Subscribers who have exceeded the limit on the number of lines that can be registered under their name may not set up an additional Smart Watch/Tablet/5G Sharing line even if they are using a plan that provides discount benefits for these lines
• Smart device lines that receive complimentary or reduced smartphone usage fees as part of the 5GX plan benefits are not eligible for additional rate discount offerings in bundled products. The duration during which these benefits are applied will not be included in the count of days subscribed for T We Family Complimentary and Long-Term Subscriber Discount.
  • Services that cannot be used : TB Bundle, Family Complimentary, Family Free, Family Plan, TV Plus, Family Cable Plan, Family Discount, T Family Bundling (Good Family), T&Caps Family Data Sharing, Family Cable Plan (Caps_Family is not restricted)
    ※ How to receive benefits: After signing up for the <5G Smart Watch TAB Discount (Main)> add-on service, register the smart device’s line to receive the benefit
• Switching to a non-eligible plan while receiving free/discount benefits for smart device usage fees will result in an immediate cessation of those benefits. In the event of a subscriber switching from 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus à 5GX Prime Plan (only uses 1 line for free), the benefits will be applied to the higher of the two lines' monthly subscriptions initially covered by the offer.

③ T membership VIP Upgrade

• Benefits for 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus/Prime subscribers: Enjoy a variety of benefits at convenience stores, bakeries, coffee shops and theaters and discounts on media content
• Members subscribing to the plan between the 1st and 15th day, and between the 16th to the last day of each month are automatically upgraded to VIP on the 1st day and 16th day of following month respectively

Please note the following with the 5GX plan

Unlimited Talktime

• The use of monthly plan may be restricted under the following case
  • When daily talktime exceeds 600 mins more than 3 times per month
  • When total monthly talktime exceeds 10,000 mins
  • When used for commercial purposes including tele-marketing/phone dating services etc.
• When usage is restricted, a talktime usage restriction alert message will be sent to the customer, and after which talktime charges will be incurred based on actual call duration

Text (SMS, text MMS, multimedia MMS) provided free-of-charge

• The use of mobile services and monthly plan may be restricted under the following cases
  • When the daily texts exceed 200 over 10 times per month
  • When used for commercial purposes including spam messages or automatic sending programs and devices
• When usage is restricted, a package talktime usage restriction alert message will be sent to the customer, and talktime charges will be incurred based on actual calling time after
• For subscribers whose profession requires large volumes of non-commercial text messaging (delivery personnel, call-taxi drivers, substitute drivers, express couriers etc.), exceptions can be made through a separate application process.
  • How to apply: Submit a copy of employment certificate and employee card to the SK Telecom customer call center (114) or visit an SK Telecom store. Needs to be renewed every 6 months.
  • Other than the above cases, the daily text amount is restricted to 500 texts according to the Anti-Spam Measures by the Korea Communications Commission

Discounts

• ‘Flexible Plan Contract Discounts’ can be applied
• Subscribers of Modern Family Discount, Family Plan, Family Discount, and Family Free Discount are eligible to receive discounts (Note: family group included in total number of lines & initial Family Complimentary subscribers are also eligible to register.)
• ‘Long-term Subscriber Discount’ and ‘Rainbow Point’ accumulation services not available

Others

• Once a subscriber’s video call/premium rate call allowance is used up, a voice call will incur a charge of ￦1.98/sec (including data usage for voice or premium rate calls), while video calls will be billed at ￦3.3/sec.
• When a text message exceeds its character limit, each message may incur charges of SMS ￦22/text, text-type MMS ￦33/text, and multimedia-type MMS ￦110/text in accordance with the Fair Use Policy.
• To ensure seamless data services for regular subscribers, data usage may be limited to fraudulent subscribers engaged in non-personal activities of CCTV/M2M equipment, which can overload the network.
• This plan can be exclusively subscribed by users with 5G/LTE smartphones.
  • Note: Only 5G smartphone users can have access to 5G data services.
• When subscribing to 5GX plan, ‘T RING Plus’ add-on service is automatically subscribed to (free of charge)
• Content benefits can be terminated/changed based on the circumstances of SK Telecom and its partners, after providing an announcement to subscribers in advance
