T PLAN

What is T Plan?

  • This plan can be subscribed by smartphone users.
  • Connect and share your data bundle with family members through T-Family. (up to 5 family members, proof of family relationship required)
    [Only Family and Data Infinity Plan subscribers may share their data bundle. Small/Medium/Large Plan subscribers and youths under the age of 18 can only receive shared data.]
  • Unlimited home and mobile talk time (excluding video and commercial calls) with unlimited* text messages.
  • Subscribers may choose among a variety of plans - Save, Safe2.5G. Safe4G, Essence, Special, Max - with varying data bundles and benefits.
  • Subscribers are eligible for a 25% contract discount with a 12-month or 24-month contract.
    (Contract discount may also be provided for new mobile phone devices with no existing records of support fund benefits, devices that have been used for
    at least 24 months after activation)

SK Telecom prohibits illegal commercial use of its communications network.
Service provision may be restricted if voice call and text message usage volume exceeds the following criteria.

Voice Calls (excluding video/additional calls)

Unlimited Talktime

  • The use of monthly plan may be restricted under the following cases
    • When daily talktime amount exceeds 600 mins more than 3 times per month
    • When total monthly talktime amount exceeds 10,000 mins
    • When used for commercial purposes including tele-marketing/phone dating services etc
  • When usage is restricted, a talktime usage restriction alert message will be sent to the customer, and after which talktime charges will be incurred based on actual call duration
    (When used for commercial purposes, the subscriber’s plan will be automatically changed to the Standard Plan and charged accordingly)
  • Commercial and Video calls
    • 1 second of commercial call basic talktime to be deducted per second of commercial call use (15XX, 16XX, 18XX etc.), personal numbers (050, 060 etc.), 0130, 011-200, 011-700, and local numbers (+153/141/700 etc.)
    • 1.66 seconds of commercial call basic talktime to be deducted per second of video call use (including HD Voice video calls)

Text

  • SMS, MMS (Text-type, Multimedia-type)
  • The use of mobile services and the monthly plan may be restricted under the following cases
    • When the daily texts exceed 200 over 10 times per month
    • When used for commercial purposes including spam messages or automatic sending programs and devices
  • When usage is restricted, a package talktime usage restriction alert message will be sent to the customer, and talktime charges will be incurred based on actual calling time after (When used for commercial purposes, the subscribed plan will be automatically changed to the <Standard Plan>)
  • For subscribers whose job requires large volumes of text messaging (couriers, call-taxi drivers, credit card delivery personnel, substitute drivers etc.), exceptions can be made through a separate application process
    • How to apply: Submit a copy of employment certificate and employee card to the SK Telecom customer call center (114) or visit an SK Telecom store. Needs to be renewed every 6 months
  • Other than the above cases, the daily text amount is restricted to 500 texts according to the Anti-Spam Measures by the Korea Communications Commission

Discounts

  • The subscriber may sign up for ‘Family Plan’ / ‘Family Free’ bundled discount plans
    (Can be recognized as a family group line, current ‘Family Complimentary’ subscribers can also sign up)
  • ‘Premium Customer Discounts’ not available
  • ‘Flexible Plan Contract Discounts’ can be applied for
  • ‘T We-Family’ discounts can be applied
    (If the total use period of family members exceeds 20 years, 10% discount is applied to the monthly fee, 30% discount for 30 years)
  • ‘Fixed Plan Contract Discounts’ cannot be applied
    (Current subscribing customers can continue to remain signed up for this discount plan but will not receive monthly fee discounts)
  • ‘Long-term Subscriber Discount’ and ‘Rainbow Point’ accumulation services not available

  • Benefits for T Plan Max and T Plan Special subscribers: Enjoy a variety of benefits at convenience stores, bakeries, coffee shops and theaters and discounts on media content
  • Members subscribing to the plan between the 1st and 15th day, and between the 16th to the last day of each month are automatically upgraded to VIP on the 1st day and 16th day of following month respectively

  • Signing up for 2 or more Wavve/FLO products as an add-on service, subscription package, or ‘Universe Pass all/standard/life’ benefit is not allowed. Each mobile line can only sign up for one ‘Universe Pass’
    (e.g.) When selecting Wavve as a ‘Universe Pass all/standard/life’ additional benefit while being subscribed to ‘Wavve and Data’, the existing ‘Wavve and Data’ add-on service will be cancelled
    (e.g.) Subscribers cannot select ‘Wavve and Data’ and ‘FLO and Data’ simultaneously as a ‘Universe Pass all/standard/life’ benefit (Signing up for ‘FLO and Data’ add-on service or subscription package allowed)
  • Customers subscribing to both the Wavve and FLO add-on service(or subscription package) or ‘Universe Pass all/standard/life’ will receive discounts for both services
    (e.g.) T Plan Special subscribers who signed up for both ‘Wavve and Data’ add-on service and ‘FLO and Data’ as a ‘Universe Pass all’ benefit will receive a 70% discount on ‘Wavve and Data’ and ₩5,000 discount on ‘Universe Pass all’ simultaneously
    • The ‘Universe Pass all/standard/life’ discount will be provided when selecting Wavve (‘Wavve and Data’ subscription, ‘Wavve and Data Plus’ subscription) and FLO (‘FLO and Data’ subscription, ‘FLO and Data Plus’ subscription) as an additional benefit
    • For T Plan Special subscribers who had been using Wavve or FLO free of charge (100% discount rate) before 30 April 2021 (Fri), the discount rate for the service will be changed from 100% to 70% from 1 May 2021 (Sat) onwards if the subscriber signs up for Wavve or FLO in the form of an add-on service, subscription service, or a Universe Pass all/standard/life add-on.
      However, if the subscriber cancels the service which he/she newly signed up for after 1 May 2021(Sat), the discount on the Wavve or FLO service that the subscriber signed up for before 30 April 2021 (Fri) will be reverted to 100%.
    • T Plan Max subscribers may receive up to 100% discounts on both ‘FLO and Data’ and ‘Wavve and Data’. When selecting this service as a ‘Universe Pass all/life’ additional benefit, up to ₩7,000 discount will be provided
      * When signing up for ‘FLO and Data Plus’ as an add-on service or subscription package, up to 100% discount will be provided on the monthly fees for ‘FLO and Data’, and up to 100% discount on the monthly fees for ‘Wavve and Data Plus’ and ‘Wavve and Data Premium’ subscribers
      * ‘Wavve and Data Premium’ is not provided as a ‘Universe Pass all/standard/life’ additional benefit
    • T Plan Special subscribers will receive up to 70% discounts on both ‘FLO and Data’ and ‘Wavve and Data’ or ‘Wavve and Data Plus’. When selecting this service as a ‘Universe Pass all/life’ additional benefit, up to ₩5,000 discount will be provided
      * When signing up for ‘FLO and Data Plus’ as an add-on service or subscription package, up to 70% discount will be provided on the monthly fees for ‘FLO and Data’, and up to 70% discount on the monthly fees for ‘Wavve and Data Plus’ and ‘Wavve and Data Premium’ subscribers
      * ‘Wavve and Data Premium’ is not provided as a ‘Universe Pass all’ additional benefit
    • The first-month promotion benefit (‘Universe Pass all/standard/life’ ₩1,000) will be provided regardless of the mobile plan the customer is subscribing to. Customers who have already enjoyed this benefit cannot receive this benefit again.
      * The first-month promotion benefit (‘Universe Pass all’ ₩1000) may be changed based on the circumstances of SK Telecom and its partners
    • When signing up for the subscription package or ‘Universe Pass all/standard/life’ within 14 days of a new subscription or device change, the discount benefit will be provided based on the monthly fees of the services at the time of subscription. After the 14 days, discounts will be calculated on a pro-rated basis
    • The benefit will not be provided to subscribers who have signed up for similar products that are provided separately by FLO or Wavve on their homepage/app

Others

  • This plan can be subscribed by smartphone users.
  • Cannot subscribe to ‘T between T’ add-on service
  • When subscribing to T Plan Save, ‘T Ring Plus’ add-on service is automatically subscribed to (free of charge)
  • Internet-based data phone calls can be used until the data package is depleted
  • ‘T Family Data Sharing’ (limited to applicable plans), ‘Data Gift’, ‘Data Sharing’, ‘2nd Device Sharing’, 'Tethering and file sharing P2P services' can be used according to the limits stated below

    ※ Tethering and shareable data used will be deducted from the subscriber’s combined data package

  • Subscribers under the age of 19 (including children) are restricted from sending Data Gifts to other SK Telecom users. Only receiving data is allowed, except under the following circumstances

    * Subscribers under the age of 19 (including children) subscribing to a plan that allows Data Gifting service or a bundled product that provides additional rounds of sending Data Gift to family members, will be allowed to send Data Gifts to bundled lines with their legal guardian’s consent

  • Refilled data cannot be used for ‘T Data Coworker’, ‘Data Gift’, ‘Data Sharing’, ‘2nd Device Sharing’ and Internet-based Voice/Video calls (m-VolP)
  • Data shared in ‘T Family Data’ cannot be used when changing plans, cancelling plans, or leaving the designated group
  • Minors under the age of 19 are not allowed to share data with family members through ‘T Family Data’ (They can only use data shared with them via ‘T Family Data’)
  • ‘Night Keeper 4X Data’ is implemented based on data packets from 00:00 to 07:00 every day, implementation may differ slightly depending the on subscribers’ usage patterns
  • When using T plan, band LTE WiFi service cannot be used
  • Content benefits can be terminated/changed based on the circumstances of SK Telecom and its partners, after providing an announcement to subscribers in advance

How to receive ‘FLO and Data (Plus)’ & ‘Wavve and Data (Plus/Premium)’ benefits

  • When signing up as an add-on service
    • Sign up for an add-on service the customer would like to select → Download the FLO or Wavve app and complete the verification process
  • When signing up as a Universe subscription package
    • Upon completing the registration process of Wavve or FLO subscription package, the benefit will be automatically provided to the FLO or Wavve account that is registered under the customer’s name
      (If there are many accounts registered under the same name, the customer needs to select one account to receive the benefit. If no valid account is found, the customer can choose one account by tapping on the [Connect] button on the ‘My Subscription’ page. Non-members must sign up for Wavve/FLO first)
  • When signing up as a ‘Universe Pass all’ additional benefit
    • When selecting ‘Wavve and Data (Plus)’ subscription or ‘FLO and Data (Plus)’ as an ‘Universe Pass all’ additional benefit. The benefit will be automatically provided to the FLO or Wavve account that is registered under the customer’s name
    • The discount benefit will be provided only to subscribers of ‘FLO and Data (Plus)’, ‘Wavve and Data (Plus)’ (add-on services or subscription packages available only for SK Telecom customers) as an additional benefit (The benefit will not be applied to Wavve/FLO Content Pack series or similar products offered on the Wavve or FLO app/homepage)
