0 PLAN

What is 0 PLAN?

  • 0 Plan is a mobile plan exclusively for customers under the age of 34.
  • Foreigners can subscribe for the 0 Plan if they have an alien registration number and their age can be confirmed.
  • Unlimited home and mobile talk time (excluding video and commercial calls) with unlimited* text messages.
  • Subscribers may choose among a variety of plans - Small, Medium and Large - with varying data bundles and benefits.
  • For the Large 0 Plan, up to 40GB of data can be shared among family members.
  • Upon exceeding the age limit (the month after the subscriber’s 36th birthday), the subscription will automatically be switched to the equivalent T Plan.
  • The ‘unlimited night time’ and ‘unlimited 3 hours per day’ additional data options for Small and Medium plans
  • The 0 plan is eligible for a 25% contract discount with a 12-month or 24-month contract.
    (Contract discount may also be provided for new mobile phone devices with no existing records of support fund
    benefits, devices that have been used for at least 24 months after activation)

SK Telecom prohibits illegal commercial use of its communications network.
Service provision may be restricted if voice call and text message usage volume exceeds the following criteria.

Voice Calls (excluding video/additional calls)

  2. ② Total voice calls exceeding 10,000 minutes a month

Subscription/Cancellation

  • Only individuals under the age of 34 may subscribe to the 0 Plan. Upon exceeding the age limit (the following month after the 36th birthday), benefits of the 0 Plan will no longer be applicable and the plan will be automatically switched to the equivalent T plan.

Unlimited Talktime

  • The use of monthly plan may be restricted under the following cases
    • When daily talktime exceeds 600 mins more than 3 times per month
    • When the total monthly talktime exceeds 10,000 mins
    • When used for commercial purposes including tele-marketing/phone dating services etc
  • When usage is restricted, a talktime usage restriction alert message will be sent to the customer, and after which talktime charges will be incurred based on actual call duration
    (When used for commercial purposes, the subscriber’s plan will be automatically changed to the Standard Plan and charged accordingly)

Text

  • SMS, MMS (Text-type, Multimedia-type)
  • The use of mobile services and the monthly plan may be restricted under the following cases
    • When the daily texts exceed 200 over 10 times per month
    • When used for commercial purposes including spam messages or automatic sending programs and devices
  • When usage is restricted, a ‘packaged talktime usage restriction’ alert message will be sent to the customer, and talktime charges will be incurred based on actual calling time after
    (When used for commercial purposes, the subscriber’s plan will be automatically changed to the Standard Plan and charged accordingly)
  • For subscribers whose profession requires large volumes of non-commercial text messaging (delivery personnel, call-taxi drivers, substitute drivers, express couriers etc.)
    • How to apply: Submit a copy of employment certificate and employee card to the SK Telecom customer call center (114) or visit an SK Telecom store. Yearly renewal required
  • Other than the above cases, the daily text amount is restricted to 500 texts according to the Anti-Spam Measures by the Korea Communications Commission

Discounts

  • The subscriber may sign up for ‘Family Plan’ / ‘Family Free’ bundled discount plans (Can be recognized as a family group line, current ‘Family Complimentary’ subscribers can also sign up)
  • ‘Premium Customer Discounts’ not available
  • ‘Flexible Plan Contract Discounts’ can be applied for
  • ‘T We-Family’ discounts can be applied (If the accumulated use period of all family members exceeds 20 years, 10% discount is applied to the monthly fee, 30% discount for 30 years)
  • ‘Fixed Plan Contract Discounts’ cannot be applied (Current subscribing customers can continue to remain signed up for this discount plan but will not receive monthly fee discounts)
  • ‘Long-term Subscriber Discount’ and ‘Rainbow Point’ accumulation services not available

Benefits

  • Upon subscribing to ‘0 Plan Large’, the ‘T membership VIP’ option will be automatically selected, and can be subsequently changed to the other options if desired
  • Mandatory to choose 1 out of the available options; duplicate subscription not allowed
  • The selected add-on service can only be changed up to 2 times on the day of subscription; subsequent changes may only be made once a month

① T membership VIP Benefits

  • Provided only when 'VIP membership' has been selected as the '0 Plan Large’ benefit option
  • Members subscribing to the plan between the 1st and 15th day, and between the 16th and last day of each month are automatically upgraded to VIP on the 1st day and 16th day of following month respectively (the line must not be suspended at any time from the point of registration till the date of membership upgrade)
  • During the upgrading period, no changes must be made to the T membership VIP or mobile plan. When the T membership VIP option is cancelled, the subscriber’s membership level will be downgraded the following month

  • In the case of selecting Wavve or FLO as a discount benefit, customers signing up for ‘FLO and Data’ or ‘Wavve and Data (Plus)’ as an add-on service or subscription package can receive up to 70% off both ‘FLO and Data’ and ‘Wavve and Data’, and up to ₩5,000 discount for customers signing up as a ‘Universe Pass all’ additional benefit
  • When signing up for ‘FLO and Data Plus’ as an add-on service or subscription package, the subscriber may receive a discount equivalent to 70% of the fees for ‘Wavve and Data Plus’ when they subscribe to ‘Wavve and Data Premium’, and a discount equivalent to 70% the fees for ‘FLO and Data’ when they subscribe to ‘FLO and Data Plus’
  • ‘Wavve and Data Premium’ is not provided as a ‘Universe Pass all/life’ additional benefit
  • The first-month promotion benefit (FLO/Wavve ₩100, Universe Pass all/life ₩1,000) will be provided to subscribers who sign up for the services for the first time. After the promotional period (1 month) has ended, a 70% discount benefit will be provided instead
  • Subscribers cannot sign up for both ‘FLO and Data’ and ‘FLO and Data subscription’, or ‘Wavve and Data’ and ‘Wavve and Data subscription’ at the same time (The subscriber may only sign up for 1 of the 2 options. Discount benefits will be provided for both options.)
  • Existing add-on service subscribers may sign up for subscription services after cancelling the existing add-on service
    (e.g.) When trying to choose Wavve as a ‘Universe Pass all’ additional benefit while being subscribed to ‘Wavve and Data’ → Cancel ‘Wavve and Data’ before signing up for ‘Universe Pass all’ and ‘Wavve and Data subscription’
  • Each mobile line can only sign up for 1 ‘Universe Pass’
  • ‘Universe Pass all/life’ discount benefit: When signing up for ‘Universe Pass all/life’ within 14 days of a new subscription/device change, 100% discount will be provided. After the 14 days, discounts will be calculated based on a pro-rated basis
    • This benefit will not be provided to subscribers who sign up for media/subscription products that are provided separately by FLO or Wavve through their homepage/app

Fees and Charges

  • When Commercial/Video Call limits are exceeded, ₩1.98/sec for voice (including HD Voice and Commercial call) and ₩3.3/sec for video will be charged respectively
  • Text use is limited according to the Fair Use Policy and will be charged at SMS ₩22/text, text-type MMS ₩33/text, multimedia-type MMS ₩110/text
  • Subscribers who would like to use data at original speeds after finishing their monthly packaged data may do so according to the following data rates:(Only applicable to ‘0 Plan Small’, ‘0 Plan Medium’ subscribers)

* Extra Data Rates: ₩0.011/0.5KB below 880MB, ₩19,800 flat rate over 880MB below 3GB, no extra charge for over 3GB (However speeds will be restricted a maximum of 200Kbps. Requesting to lift restrictions will result in charges of ₩0.0033/0.5KB used.)

Others

  • This plan can be subscribed by smartphone users.
  • Cannot subscribe to ‘T with T’
  • When subscribing to this plan, ‘T Ring Plus’ add-on service is automatically subscribed to
  • Internet-based data phone calls can be used until the data package is depleted (0 Plan Large subscribers can continue to use internet phone calls under data speed restrictions)
  • ‘T Family Data Sharing’ (limited to applicable plans), ‘Data Gift’, ‘Data Sharing’, ‘2nd Device Sharing’, 'Tethering and file sharing P2P services' can be used according to the limits stated below

  • The amount of data that can be used for tethering & data sharing is included in the plan’s data package. When tethering & data sharing is used, the amount used will be deducted from the subscriber’s data package simultaneously.
  • When using Data Refill, refill data amounts according to each plan are stated as per below

  • Refilled data cannot be used for T Family Data, Data Gifts, Data Sharing and 2nd Device Sharing
    • Data shared through ‘T Family Data’ cannot be used when changing plans, cancelling plans, or leaving the designated group
    • ‘0 Plan Large’ subscribers who are minors under the age of 19 (including children) are not allowed to share data with family members through T Family Data (They can only use data shared with them via T Family Data) Sharing of data will be allowed if approved by a legal guardian (Sign up through the customer call center or at SK Telecom stores)
    • Subscribers under the age of 19 (including children) are restricted from sending Data Gifts to other SK Telecom users. Only receiving data is allowed, except under the following circumstances

      * Subscribers under the age of 19 (including children) subscribing to a plan that allows Data Gifting service or a bundled product that provides additional rounds of sending Data Gift to family members, will be allowed to send Data Gifts to bundled lines with their legal guardian’s consent

    • Late-night discounts offered to ‘0 Plan Small’ and ‘0 Plan Medium’ is implemented based on data packets from 00:00 to 07:00 every day, implementation may differ slightly depending on the subscribers’ usage patterns
    • When using 0 Plan, band LTE WiFi service cannot be used
    • Content benefits can be terminated/changed based on the circumstances of SK Telecom and its partners, after providing an announcement to subscribers in advance
