What is 5GX ?

Monthly Plans

• When commercial/video call limits are exceeded, ￦1.98/sec (including landline, mobile calls and commercial calls using LTE) and ￦3.3/sec will be charged respectively
• Text use is limited as stated in the Fair Use Policy and will be charged at SMS ￦22/text, text-type MMS ￦33/text, multimedia-type MMS ￦110/text, when exceeding limit
• Unfair data usage that may cause network overload (CCTV, M2M devices other than personal use) may be blocked

5GX Plan T Universe Subscription Discount Benefits

Shareable Data

• Shareable Data: Total amount of data which can be used for Data Gifts/Data Sharing/Smartwatch and Tablet Device Sharing
• Individuals under the age of 19 (including children) may not use data gifting services, and may only receive data. Data gifting by such individuals is only allowed under the following circumstances:
  * Individuals under the age of 19 (including children) subscribing to plans that allow the gifting of data, and bundled products allowing additional gifting of data to family members. Such individuals may gift data to bundled family members with approval from their legal guardians.
• Tethering and data sharing is allowed within the plan's combined data bundle. Data used for tethering and data sharing will be deducted from the subscriber's data allowance
• Refilled data cannot be shared (Cannot be used with T Family Data Sharing, Data Gift, Data Sharing, Smartwatch/Tablet Device Sharing T Data Sharing)
• Subscription to T Family Data is not allowed
• Data refill is not available for unlimited data plans i.e. 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus/Prime (Giving data to family members is allowed)

① T membership VIP Benefits

• Benefits for 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus/Prime subscribers: Enjoy a variety of benefits at convenience stores, bakeries, coffee shops and theaters and discounts on media content
• Members subscribing to the plan between the 1st and 15th day, and between the 16th to the last day of each month are automatically upgraded to VIP on the 1st day and 16th day of following month respectively

② 5GX Plan Subscription Benefits

• Subscription benefits of 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus/Prime shall be provided immediately upon registration, and the subscriber may choose from one of the following services to receive a discount benefit : Wavve, FLO, ‘Universe Pass all’, or ‘Universe Pass life’.
  • You may only receive a discount for either ‘Universe Pass all’ or ‘Universe Pass life’, and may not subscribe to both services and receive discounts at the same time
  • If you have chosen Wavve or FLO as your discount benefit, discounts will be provided once you sign up to Wavve or FLO as an add-on or standalone subscription
  • The above benefit shall be provided to customers who have subscribed to 5GX Platinum · 5GX Prime Plus from August 5th, 2022 (Fri.) onwards, and customers subscribing to 5GX Prime since September 1st, 2022 (Thu.). Customers who have subscribed to 5GX Platinum or 5GX Prime before August 5th, 2022 (Fri.) and September 1st, 2022 (Thu.) respectively may receive the updated benefits upon re-subscribing to these plans. However, upon re-subscription, you will no longer be able to receive the existing benefits
  • Discounts will only be provided after registration for the corresponding product is completed
• ‘Universe Pass all’ and ‘Universe Pass life’ discount benefits for 5GX Platinum · 5GX Prime Plus · 5GX Prime plans is not applicable for the ‘Youtube Premium’ subscription service additional benefit option
• You may choose your subscription benefit after registering to 5GX Platinum · 5GX Prime Plus · 5GX Prime plans. If you are already using one of the above plans, you may apply/change your benefit on the [My Plans/Add-Ons] screen at T world website/app
  • You may change your subscription benefit after 31 days have passed from the day a change of benefit was made. (i.e., When changing from a ‘Universe Pass all’ discount → Wavve discount on January 1st, you may change your selected benefit again on February 2nd.)
• When selecting add-on services (postpaid): Discounts will be applied immediately after registration to the service
• When selecting subscription services (prepaid): ① If selection of the benefit and registration to the selected benefit service is completed within 14 days of signing up for the plan, the maximum discount amount will be provided
  ② If selection of the benefit and registration to the selected benefit service is completed after 14 days of signing up for the plan, the discount will be pro-rated based on the period between the selection and payment (registration) date. (i.e., If the benefit option was selected on July 10th, and payment (registration) was completed on July 25th, 50% of maximum discount amount (15days/30days=0.5) will be provided
• When 5GX Platinum subscribers choose Wavve as a benefit option, up to 100% monthly discount will be provided after signing up for ‘Wavve and data (Plus/Premium)’ either as an add-on service or subscription service. When the FLO benefit option is chosen, up to 100% monthly discount will be provided after registering for ‘FLO and data (Plus)’ either as an add-on service or subscription service. In addition, up to 100% monthly discount will be provided when registering for ‘Universe Pass all/life’ after selecting it as a benefit
  • 5GX Platinum members may choose up to 2 services from the benefit pool
  • Discounts up to ￦9,900 will be provided upon choosing the Universe Pass discount option, but extra charges stemming from additional benefits of Universe Pass will not be discounted
• When 5GX Prime Plus subscribers choose Wavve as a benefit option, up to 100% monthly discount will be provided after signing up for ‘Wavve and data (Plus/Premium)’ either as an add-on service or subscription service. When the FLO benefit option is chosen, up to 100% monthly discount will be provided after registering for ‘FLO and data’ either as an add-on service or subscription service. In addition, up to 100% monthly discount will be provided when registering for ‘Universe Pass all/life’ after selecting it as a benefit
  • 5GX Prime Plus members may choose 1 service from the benefit pool
  • Up to 100% monthly discount (￦7,900, based on monthly fees) will be provided upon registering for ‘FLO and data Plus’ as add-on service or subscription service after choosing FLO as the discount option
• When 5GX Prime members choose Wavve as a benefit option, up to 70% monthly discount will be provided when signing up for ‘Wavve and data (Plus/Premium)’ either as an add-on service or subscription package. When the FLO benefit option is chosen, up to 70% monthly discount will be provided when signing up for ‘FLO and data’ either an add-on service or subscription package. In addition, up to ￦5,000 monthly discount will be provided for ‘Universe Pass all/life’ subscription fees when choosing it as a benefit option
  • 5GX Prime members may choose up to 2 options from the benefit pool
  • Up to 70% monthly discount (￦5,530, based on ‘FLO and data’ monthly fees) will be provided upon registering for ‘FLO and data Plus’ as add-on service or subscription services
• You may not register to multiple Wavve or FLO products simultaneously in the form of add-on services, subscription, or ‘Universe Pass all/standard/life’. In addition, a single individual may only register for one type of Universe Pass service at a time
• ‘Wavve and Data Premium’ will not be provided as an additional benefit to ‘Universe all/standard/life’

③ 50%/100% discounts on Smart Watch/Tablet PC/ZEM Plan watch/5G Sharing supplementary lines

• Receive either 50% or 100% discounts on fees according to your mobile plan
  • 2 lines free for 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus
  • 1 line free for 5GX Prime
  • 50% discount on 1 line for 5GX Regular Plus
• Requirements: Smart Watch/Tablet PC/5G Sharing lines that are tied to the same subscriber’s account, or ZEM Plan Watch line of the child that is bundled together in the form of ‘main-supplementary line (parent-child)’, with the parent as the legal guardian
• Plans eligible for discount (11 services): LTE Watch (standalone/shared), T Outdoor (standalone/shared), LTE Watch (Shared II), (child’s line) ZEM Plan Watch, T Tab9, 5G Sharing_Tablet PC, 5G Sharing_Smartphone, 5G Tab 4G (standalone/shared)
  • 5G Tab Plan (standalone/shared) subscribers are also eligible for the discount benefit. Please note that the discounted amount is applied based on T Tab 9 fees (5GX Platinum/Prime Plus/Prime members may receive up to ￦9,900 discount, 5GX Regular Plus members may receive up to ￦4,950)
  • Subscribers who have exceeded the limit on the number of lines that can be registered under their name may not set up an additional Smart Watch/Tablet/5G Sharing line even if they are using a plan that provides discount benefits for these lines
• 5GX Platinum/Prime Plus/Prime lines that are free of charge due to promotional benefits and 5GX Regular Plus lines with 50% discount from benefits are restricted from applying for additional discount services such as bundled services. In addition, the period in which the above benefits are applied does not count towards the number of days for T We Family Complimentary and Long-Term Subscriber Discount
  • Services that cannot be used : TB Bundle, Family Complimentary, Family Free, Family Plan, TV Plus, Family Cable Plan, Family Discount, T Family Bundling (Good Family), T&Caps Family Data Sharing, Family Cable Plan (Caps_Family is not restricted)
    ※ How to receive benefits: After signing up for the <5G Smart Watch TAB Discount (Main)> add-on service, register the smart device’s line to receive the benefit

Subscription 5GX Plan Term of Use

Unlimited Talktime

• The use of monthly plan may be restricted under the following case
  • When daily talktime exceeds 600 mins more than 3 times per month
  • When total monthly talktime exceeds 10,000 mins
  • When used for commercial purposes including tele-marketing/phone dating services etc.
• When usage is restricted, a talktime usage restriction alert message will be sent to the customer, and after which talktime charges will be incurred based on actual call duration

Text (SMS, text MMS, multimedia MMS) provided free-of-charge

• The use of mobile services and monthly plan may be restricted under the following cases
  • When the daily texts exceed 200 over 10 times per month
  • When used for commercial purposes including spam messages or automatic sending programs and devices
• When usage is restricted, a package talktime usage restriction alert message will be sent to the customer, and talktime charges will be incurred based on actual calling time after
• For subscribers whose profession requires large volumes of non-commercial text messaging (delivery personnel, call-taxi drivers, substitute drivers, express couriers etc.), exceptions can be made through a separate application process.
  • How to apply: Submit a copy of employment certificate and employee card to the SK Telecom customer call center (114) or visit an SK Telecom store. Needs to be renewed every 6 months.
  • Other than the above cases, the daily text amount is restricted to 500 texts according to the Anti-Spam Measures by the Korea Communications Commission

Discounts

• ‘Family Plan’/’Family Free’ bundled discount plans can be signed up for (Can be recognized as Family group line number, current ‘Family Complimentary’ subscribers can also sign up)
• ‘Premium Customer Discounts’ not available
• ‘Flexible Plan Contract Discounts’ can be applied
• ‘T We-Family ’ discounts can be applied (If the total use period of family members exceeds 20 years, 10% discount is applied to the monthly fee, 30% discount for 30 years)
• ‘Mobile Plan Contract Discounts’ cannot be applied (Current subscribing customers can continue to remain with this discount plan but will not receive monthly fee discounts)
• ‘Long-term Subscriber Discount’ and ‘Rainbow Point’ accumulation services not available

Others

• You may only sign up for this plan using a 5G smartphone. However, 3G/LTE devices purchased from non-telco channels may be used to sign up for this plan
• When subscribing to 5GX plan, ‘T RING Plus’ add-on service is automatically subscribed to (free of charge)
• Content benefits can be terminated/changed based on the circumstances of SK Telecom and its partners, after providing an announcement to subscribers in advance
• Fair Use Policy is applied to ensure that regular customers are able to utilize data services without any difficulties. Unfair data usage that can cause network overload (CCTV, M2M devices other than personal use) may be blocked
